Laptop Collection

This coming week begins our FCPSOn laptop collection. Any student that was issued an FCPSOn laptop this school year is required to return it before the last day of school so it can be refreshed for the 2022-23 school year. More informaiton found here.

Replacement Laptop Chargers

With SOL testing quickly approaching we are asking students to make sure they have a charger to use during testing. If your child has lost their charger, they will need to order a $23 replacement charger through MySchoolBucks or by sending in a check made out to Stone Middle School before May 6. Once payment is received, they will be issued a new replacement charger. They will be responsible for turning this in with their laptop at the end of the school year.

Attention 8th Graders! Bulldog Bootcamp is truly a great opportunity to start off on the right foot at Westfield High School. Bulldog Bootcamp is staffed by faculty and student leaders, as well as administrators and counselors! Register for the Career and Technical Education Summer Academy

CTE Summer Academy (CSA) is a weekly enrichment program that allows students to dive deeper into CTE program areas and encourages skill development and career exploration. Students are able to personalize their experience by choosing which CTE classes they will take! Open to students in grades 7-11 during the 2021-22 school year. Space is limited, and registration is on a first-come basis until seats are filled. Register now.

Anticipated Bus Delays

Due to the bus driver shortage, we will be increasing “double back” bus runs, meaning a bus is required to run two scheduled routes back to back that would normally have been covered by two separate buses. These “double backs” may impact delivery time to schools or bus stops and may have a domino effect, affecting after-school drop-off times.
