Congratulations to the Stone Middle School website and school website administrator Alison Costanza. The Stone Middle School website was recognized as one of six FCPS school websites to be recognized as 'Best of the Web' during a 2020 presentation held on January 15th.

October was national bullying prevention month. Students were asked to create a poster or a video with a positive anti-bullying message for the Stone community. See our contest winners below!

Stone Middle School has recently been approved as a Common School, an honor that recognizes our efforts in teaching digital citizenship to young people and engaging the entire school community in this important discussion. The recognition acknowledges our schools commitment to helping students think critically and use technology responsibly to learn, create, and participate.

For more than a decade, he helped the military defend against biological and chemical weapons.  Now he teaches middle school science.

Congratulations to orchestra director Mark Taylor who was named the 2017 Region 5 Outstanding Secondary Teacher. Congratulations as well to ESOL teacher Rebecca McCabe, office assistant Susan Arnold, and Assistant Principal Ellyn Bowman. All four Panthers were recognized at the this year's FCPS Honors Ceremony.
