Our 8th grade students were excited to participate in a Rising 9th grade orientation field trip to Westfield High School this past Monday. They heard from a student panel, learned about clubs and activities, toured the building and met members of the Westfield team.

To support Wellness through ESSER, our SEL Coordinators, Marissa Bricker and Katie Marrefi, put together six wellness carts that teachers can check-out and bring to their classrooms. These carts include a variety of activities that allow students to develop creativity skills and sharpen social skills.

National School Counseling Week 2022, "Better Together," was celebrated from February 7-11 to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within our school systems.  National School Counseling Week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. We were delighted to honor our Stone Middle School school counselors this week for all of their hard work and dedication.
