In her spare time, Crystal can be found trying out new recipes and attending sporting competitions for her four children.
Crystal talked about how perservance has played an important role in her life. She shared with Stone students:
"It’s okay if everything doesn’t go 100% all the time. In life, it never does, but persevering is continuing to work, and study, and practice even when you want to quit."
"Don’t be afraid to ask for help. People close to you want to offer their help, guidance, or support to help you persevere. Your parents, coaches, or teachers are often valuable resources and would love to lend a helping hand when you need it. You might also learn a thing or two from them!"
"Please remember that the perseverance that you display in your own life, can be an inspiration and extremely impactful to someone else’s life. "
