We were thrilled to kick off our monthly speaker series during Panther Block with former NFL great, Mr. Charles Mann. See the interview below by Taylor Fenix & Gabe Lebahn, who did an excellent job. We are so grateful to our Ignite business partner, Grace Covenant Church, for supporting our speaker series this year. 

Mr. Mann's inspiring words outlined his 8 point success plan for our students that centered around building a community and to always remember to "be coachable".

1. Build a community of relationships.
2. Be careful how you speak to people.
3. Take the path less traveled—if everyone is doing it, doesn’t mean it’s the right thing.
4. Listen to hear & not to speak—don’t have to have the last word. Listen more and talk less.
5. Obstacles are what you see when you take your eye off the path.
6. Live in the moment—tomorrow is not promised.
7. Do more work than is required.
8. It’s now how you start but how you finish.
