Imagine Summer Learning and Young Scholars
It's been wonderful welcoming students back at Stone for summer learning in our IMAGINE summer learning program and Young Scholars.
IMAGINE Learning students had the opportunity to close academic gaps through game based learning.
They participated in activities such as:
- Scavenger Hunts about store elements and vocabulary)
- Math Pong
- Conversation Basketball
- Designing Posters about Books
Our Young Scholars students met in person to practice their Critical and Creative Thinking skills. Over the three weeks, they worked on improving an existing product and solving a problem facing our community. One group created a special vest for the blink that uses echolocation and haptics!
