The ESOL Civics Showcase was an opportunity to research the culture, geography, and politics of countries all over the world. After researching several countries to find similarities and differences, the students selected on for in-depth research.

After creating a presentation about their chosen country, the students created educational activities to display their research and engage others in learning about the country. In addition to showing their slides, the students created a paper airplane decorated in the colors and symbols of their country, an educational board game, and a marble run “roller coaster” to represent their country.

During the showcase, the students stood by their presentation to answer questions about their project and allow guests to try out their activities.
