Kindness Week 2022
A huge thank you to our leadership and Panther News teams for ensuring we had a successful Kindness Week. We kicked off the week with our kindness poster contest where each Panther Block created a kindness poster. These posters are displayed all around the school and remind our students and staff about the importance of being kind.
Spirit Week
- Kindness Makes the Heart Grow - Wear Red, Pink or Hearts
- Be Kind Together - Find a New Friend and Dress as Twins
- United in Kindness - Wear Red, White and Blue
- Kindness is Comfort - Wear Comfy Clothes
- Show our Custodians Kindness - Blue Out
Be the "I" in Kind
During lunches this week, students stood in front of the large KIND banner displayed in the cafeteria to be the "I" in Kind.
Kindness Poster Contest
Our leadership students created a Kindness Poster Contest for each Panther Block to participate in.
The class posters had to include the following:
- A quote that connects to kindness
- Illustrations with respectful and positive drawings that connect
- Your Panther Block Part A teacher’s name at the bottom right corner
- Try and fill up the whole poster- be creative and have fun!
Our winning classes who earned a donut party were - Ms. Sgrecci, Mr. Quinlan, Mrs. Magwire, Mr. Estep, and Mrs. Weimann.
Kindess Week Bingo
All students at Stone had the opportunity to participate in virtual Kindness Bingo. The goal was to complete a daily act of kindness from the Bingo board.
Last week, we celebrated Kindness Week, which is something we hope to spread every day at Stone. This week, 54 students completed and turned in their Kindness Week Bingo. 10 winners were randomly selected and we thank everyone for their participation as we make a commitment to kindness each day!
